How we can Help?

Throughout our lives we had numerous challenges and have worked through them with the help of the Lord.  One of the blessings of walking this road is that others have asked us if we can help in an area similar to ones we have experienced.  Below are some examples of how we have tried to help others.

  • November, 2007 - Presentation with Bob Stutman to parents at Whitefish Bay Middle School, Whitefish Bay, WI
  • May, 2007 – Hosted group of area high school students for a tour of our business and to answer questions about entering the work world and speak about impact of drugs in the workplace and in families.
  • April, 2007 – Spoke with a group of business leaders about our company substance abuse policy and shared John’s story and how he was able to get around pre-employment drug testing.
  • February, 2007 - Spoke to church lay-counselors about grief.
Upcoming

· Time with an area church senior high small group to share our experience with addictions in our family.

· Joint presentation to speak to church members in Texas about children with drug addictions within a Christian home.

· In talks with national news show to speak to the topic of Drugs in the Suburbs.

On-going

· Numerous people cross our paths that have suffered through the death of a child, have a child with addictions, have relationship issues in their marriages or have suffered through some type of crisis or trauma in their life. The two of us do our best to help, even if that is to just listen.

February 9th & 10th, 2008 - Bob and Pam's testimony at Elmbrook Church sharing a brief glimpse into their journey with Jesus, and how they are experiencing the gracious experience of His gradual healing in their lives after the loss of John as well as other losses in the past 10 years. This is in conjunction with Pastor Mel Lawrenz's sermon on:

"How can I know what to Believe?"
