Finding A Place

There is no place within my soul,

To place this loss and make me whole.

You left too soon, and took from me,

That part of life that used to be.

You shared your heart, I gave you mine;

But you are gone…such swift decline.

No more chance to make things right;

This is what it is…the truth brings night.

God gives us free will, so we all have a choice;

But why do we run from His life-giving Voice?

We believe all the lies, that God isn’t good;

But He gave Himself for us. He’s so misunderstood.
